Commitment; Kings 4, Blue Jackets 1

This week has been ridiculous for me personally so I'm keep this short and sweet. After a horrendous start against the Columbus Blue Jackets last night, the Los Angeles Kings got their heads screwed on straight and took the team four goals up and two points richer in the standings. The 4-1 win was facilitated by a hot Anze Kopitar who scored his 100th and 101st goals of his career. Top line? I think so.

Commitment came from Ryan Smyth and his drive to the net and subsequent tip in for the kinds of goals the Kings will continue to need more of. There is nothing about Smyth's game that I find lacking. I love his presence, drive, and tenacity. Go Smyth. Go Kings. Go Kopitar. Go the rest of the team.

This weekend the Kings are back-to-back with the Boston Bruins and the New Jersey Devils at 4:00 PM and 2:00 PM PST, respectively. I will be present and accounted for for those game threads, so please join me!

Because of that PuckDaddy feature on Matt Greene yesterday, I have had the Hall & Oates song “Method of Modern Love” stuck in my head for 24 hours. Somebody help me please!!!
