What do they want? One of last year's surprise teams (LAK, PHX, COL) is likely to back-slide. The Avs don't want to be the one.
What's their ****ing problem? Injured: Peter Mueller (concussion), Adam Foote (concussion).
Who the **** do they think they are? (IN) Daniel Winnik, Julian Talbot, Ben Walter, Greg Mauldin; (OUT) Brett Clark, Chris Durno , Tyler Weiman, Brian Fahey, T.J. Hensick, Brian Willsie. Darcy Tucker, Ruslan Salei, Marek Svatos, Tom Preissing.
What, are we supposed to be scared? Matt Duchene, Craig Anderson -- yes, a little scary.
Bob Miller's Nightmare? Odds of him calling Matt Duchene "Steve": 1-in-10.
I thought we were friends! Ex-Kings: Kyle Quincey. Ex-Avs: Ryan Smyth, Brad Richardson. Ex-Kingalanches: Preissing, Willsie.
Yeah, well, wait till they get a load of: I'm going to go with Brayden Schenn and Andrei Loktionov. The Avs seem like a team they would do well against. Don't know why.
Oh, and I know where they got their logo.

No knock on Greene, except that he can’t be anywhere near game shape. And JJ, well…

Not to mention how stupid it is for Terry Murray to put in Harrold and play him more than Muzzin because Muzzin’s a kid and couldn’t possibly play 20 minutes a night, then sit Muzzin because Harrold played well last game. Well gee whiz, Terry, maybe if you had played Muzzin 20 minutes last game then he would have looked as good as Harrold!
Muzzin assigned to Manchester to make room for Greene
No surprise since Muzzin is the only one waiver exempt. Muzzin only made the team due to Greene’s injury and Doughty should be back Monday, so they can’t put him on IR.
I guess I should have expected it, but I didn’t. Good news about Drew, though.

He's not going to be back Monday. I don't know anything. Except there is no reason to rush your franchise back from a concussion.

I recall reading — I think from Gladys Kravitz — that if you are suspected of having a concussion, you have to sit for at least 7 days from the time of your injury. So Drew won’t be back until the second half of the week, at least. But I’d agree that the fact that Muzzin was sent down instead of Doughty put on IR is a sign that Drew will be back as soon as his precautionary week is up.

Or it's a sign they want Muzzin to play in Manchester tomorrow and then fly to wherever the Kings are.
