The Minnesota Wild, ESPN will tell you, are 13th in the West. However, they have games in hand on everyone but LA and VAN, and there are at least two teams currently in the top eight (CHI and ANA) who have lost and/or SO/OTL-ed as many games as the Wild. (So they're better than they seem.) They've also managed to beat VAN, WAS, SJS, CBJ, TBL, NAS, ANA, PHX and DET. Also, like the Kings, the Wild clustered most of their badness in one giant losing streak (they went 1-8 between 11/20 and 12/4). Now they've won one in a row. The Kings have won three.
This, the Kings' 27th game, is the 1/3 marker for the season.
I don't care what line Oscar Moller is on, but put him on the power play please. A lot.
