More Disorienting Than the Wings' Collapse on the Ice

...is how their fans sound exactly like Kings' fans when they lose. Check out these comments from the SB Nation Wings blog, Winging It in Motown.

Some advice to Wings fans, since you obviously have no experience teetering on the brink of oblivion. Everything's fine. The season is not "over." You do not "have to make a trade." You shouldn't "blow it up and rebuild." You are literally one game out of 8th place, and you're one of seven teams clawing for the last three playoff spots, to say nothing of the spots above that, which are also fair game. Those seven teams are separated by 8 points, with the Wings in the middle. Yeah, two points from 8th, four from 6th. That may sound horrible, but it's really pretty good. It occurs to me that you may not even know, the top eight teams in each conference make the playoffs. Yes, I know, it is a lot. You probably thought it was just you, the Sharks, Chicago and (ahem) Anaheim.

You've got about forty-five ring-bearers, you've got Nicklas Lidstrom, you've got Henrik Zetterberg and Pavel Datsyuk, and at some point Johan Franzen and Tomas Holmstrom, and you've got that crappy goalie Chris Osgood who apparently sucks but we all know if you get into the playoffs and he plays one game he's just as likely to win 16 as to choke, which is why the Kings should trade for him, but probably won't.

Also, you have red uniforms, and it has been scientifically proven that winners wear red
