Ouch; Ducks 4, Kings 2

Well, that one hurt pretty bad. The Anaheim Ducks took it to the Los Angeles Kings last night in a sound 4-2 drubbing.  I guess it's a good thing I had that feeling of hopefulness when both Anze Kopitar and Oscar Moller scored, but both times were promptly defecated on with returning Ducks goals.

I knew the winning streak couldn't last, but it was nice while it was happening. Was it the worst thing having lost to the Ducks IN Anaheim? Arguably, but losing to the San Jose Sharks could have been just as worse; especially in the Shark Tank. This isn't the end of the world so I hope no irrational people throw themselves off a cliff because of it. This was a tired Kings squad facing a desperate Ducks team, or however you want to look at it.

That about sums it up.

I don't think they were "tired" as much as ...

… they simply had amnesia for a night, and forgot how to stick handle and pass. Hopefully this clears up before Thursday night.
