Jonathan Bernier has been recalled by the Los Angeles Kings. Is this a wake up call more than anything? What do you think?

I think its a good call. Even if he goes back shortly it’ll provide a wake up call for the team and Quick and also gives Quick a rest without having to worry (sorry EE)

I'm thinking the same

There’s a back-to-back starting today, so we shall see…

Agree with the above. I believe the prevailing factors to the call up are the back-to-back games beginning tonight, as well as Minnesota’s closer proximity to Manchester than any of the other cities which the Kings will be playing in for the rest of this year. The sky is not falling…

I thought this might happen

It’s not that Ersberg has a strained back. It’s that he has a “strained back.”

I think the kid is the “you know what” I saw him play a couple of weeks ago, and I was so impressed, I thought the Kings might call him up sooner!!

Quick does need some rest, and again, this kid is the real deal! I missed the game last night, but a Shoutout! Wow!

And to win in a pressure game like that too? for a young guy! Nice! Go Kings!
