Anybody see the Kings edition of MT Puckmore of PuckDaddy from yahoo?

Any thoughts? Is there someone you want to see on there who isnt?

Can we do a future stars top 4 and who do you see making this type of list in say 5 years?

I went on that blog everyday waiting for the Kings Edition to be posted. The 4 players I had predicted were the one’s that were posted. I’m not sure it could have been any other way. (Although i was hoping for a Pete Demers shoutout!).

If the Kings win the Stanley Cup in the next 5 years you’d have to replace Marcel or Rogie with Doughty.. assuming he plays a major role and wins a Norris in there. Obviously Luc and Gretzky are cemented in there eternally.

Agreed! I think in 5 years you may see both Kopi and Doughty on there with Luc and Wayne….
IDK though…Demers was the shizznit and Bob Miller…cmon is there really a better play by play guy in sports?

Hard to dump Marcel who was one of perhaps the three most impressive on Quisp’s Age/Production Chart. He was the center that kept on giving.

he is one major reason i started playing goalie! That blue bandanna alone should get him something!!!

The list was pretty much perfect. 3 French Canadians out of 4 too. :)

If the Kings win a cup, Doughty or Bernier will probably replace Rogatien.

Good but wishful thinking at this point in time. Nothing less then years of consistant performance is required for elite status, IMO at least.

All to often these days the very very good are confused with the all time great.

I felt PM missed Goring and the tandem of Harper and Malloney. He could have added Stone mountain if he needed more space.

Also, Gretzky was of course great but never really offered that “home grown” feel. That team had more of a “hired gun” feeling seeing as it was more or less Edmonton on the shore.

In that era home grown would have been Hrudy, Taylor, Robitaille, Donnelly, Millian (sort of), MacIntyre, Sydor, Blake, and Zitnik
