Voynov to wear #26, but probably not in a real game (yet)

Monday practice update " LA Kings Insider
– Slava Voynov will also play, but Murray indicated that Voynov more than likely will be headed to Manchester, but that a final decision hasn’t been made. That’s good news for Scott Parse. Also, Voynov has started wearing No. 26.

Interesting. Players don't get to shed their high "prospect" number until they've made the team. And yet it appears he probably hasn't made the team. But he's made it enough to earn himself a real number. Just not enough to wear it in a real game. 

I guess it's a step in the right direction.
