Oilers recall Teubert; assign Omark - Edmonton Oilers - News
General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have recalled defenceman Colten Teubert and assigned left-winger Linus Omark to the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League. Teubert, 21, has played in nine games with the Barons this season recording two goals and two assists. The 6'4", 200-pound White Rock, BC native has appeared in 68 career AHL games with the Barons and Manchester Monarchs collecting 21 points (6G, 15A) and 101 PIM. Teubert was acquired from Los Angeles with a draft pick in exchange for Dustin Penner last season.
Ryan Smyth returning. Colin Fraser hearing in a couple of weeks. The Oilers are the hottest team in the league. And now Teubert could debut at Staples?
