After Hunter starts getting some lovin’ in the comments, he makes only ONE appearance in any of the four line combos??

1: Murray?

2: 3rd line Westy = Murray parody?

3: with Drewiske in there, maybe the randomizer?

4: the one without Moreau/2nd line Loktionov/three viable lines belongs to Quisp?

I would have gone with:

Richardson – Kopitar – Brown
Gagne – Loktionov – Williams
Penner – Stoll – Clifford
Westgarth – Fraser – Moreau
Johnson/Doughty
Scuderi/Voynov
Greene/Drewiske

Wonder who replaces Richards on the first PP unit? Please tell me Loktionov or Williams. Murrary will probably thrown Penner in there.

Most likely Gagne. Penner will replace Hunter in front of the net on the 2nd unit while Loki takes Gagne’s old spot.

Yeah, I thought possibly 1,2,3,4 for a minute but nah, I’m jumping on the 4,2,3,1 bandwagon. It’s kind of a Penner vs Gagne dilemna, but seeing Lokti as 2nd line center as opposed to Stoll (in option 4) makes it a little more palatable.

I’m probably wrong but I just cringe when I see Gagne on the 3rd line, hence I can’t believe anyone would be serious about it. Then again, I’m biased.

Per the MInister of Propaganda, TM is going with 2, though I’m kind of partial to 4 myself. It does look like the experiment with Hunter as a top 6 forward is over for now. Maybe it was all an audition or a showcase for a future trade?

I was thinking the same thing today

that putting Penner w Lokti seems like such a clear choice.
But TM decided he’d….. oh, never mind. It’s not worth it.

This might interest you guys.
Wed pm Kovalchuk -3 in the first period of the game.
Tonight he scores a goal, but in the 3rd period w NJ trailing by one goal, commits (according to the radio) a real bad turnover that Minn converts into a goal. Game effectively over. And NJ announcers called him out on it.

and since i'm on here at the moment

how come Phoenix can beat chicago and score 4 and tonight it’s tied in the 3rd vs. the Isles and they’ve scored 4 as well.
This Chicago thing is becoming like the curse of Kings vs. Philly in what was I believe around 79’ thru 84’ or something like that? I had just started watching hockey around then and remember they couldn’t beat Philly to save their life.
