PrintSince we last met the Vancouver Canucks...
IN: Jannik Hansen, Mark Mancari
OUT: David Booth (knee), Aaron Rome (thumb), Aaron Volpatti (shoulder), Byron Bitz (hip). Chris Higgins (severe swelling in his hand) is questionable for tonight. Noted attention slut Ryan Kesler enjoys bending over things while naked, but so far hasn't strained anything.
This preview is brief because I'm back from travels. We're playing the Canucks and everyone hates them for abundant reasons. Their fans will tell you it's all a media construct, but there's footage to counteract this idea. Yadda yadda.
The Kings have been better since Terry Murray was fired, but everyone forgets there was a week before Sutter even arrived, and he's had next to no practice time to boot. He's doing pretty good things, though I should point out that even Stevens realized you should try for three scoring lines.

No one goes down like Drew Doughty. He embarrasses the game all the time with that stuff. Its a shame, because we can all see his talent.
As for footage, there is plenty, but all you have to watch is the last penalty called on Raymond. You have to be a homer fan to the Nth degree to not admit that is diving. Its not the first.
So please, hate on the Canucks if you like. Fans of other teams often hate on the team that is the very best. Thats cool.
But if you want to sit there and ignore your own team, well, come on now.

No one’s denying that their team never dives (hello Brown). Every team does it from time to time. But your team’s “performance” throughout the playoffs was fucking awful and a disgrace to the sport. Their reputation is well deserved.
