Hello, first want to state that I am a Rangers fan and normally on blueshirt banter. Over there we have been talking about shopping Gaborik who is just not fitting into the new gritty, hardworking, energetic system that does not cater to a finesse snipers abilities. Plus we do not have a center yet that is of a good enough caliper to set him up for easy goals from time to time.

He isnt fitting into our system but he is still an incredible player that has had a shoulder injury this season hurting him and his numbers are not as they were last season but the positive is he has 3 hat tricks on the season and has shown inconsistently that he is a force that can still take over a game. As I said we have talked about shopping Gaborik for a grittier talent player that would better fit into our system. Because the Kings have a ton of young talent in the system and the fact that they were actively trying to sign Kovalchuk in the offseason it isnt much of a secret that they are looking for that elite sniper to put the team at the next level. 

The question is what do kings fans think a +40 goal and +80 point sniper is worth in a trade? Over in the Rangers forum names like Schenn and Brown are popping up in almost any trade consideration I'm personally more in favor of Brown because he fits our particular system perfectly but I doubt the captain is being shipped out of LA. I would like to hear the Kings fans view on any trades for an elite sniper that has some of the best career numbers for guys playing that position currently.
