depends on preferences
i’m going to be biased and say, based on my preferences, a name with one syllable. so that leaves Stoll, Smyth, Quick, Brown, King . . . all those i can think of off the top of my head.
Quick. especially for a lazy cat.

Cats respond well to sounds like “Sss”, “shh”, “zzz”, “kss”. So I’d go with Handzus.

this is clearly my specialty Quisp. my vote should count twice :). if we’re going with just 1 name and not a combination it should be “Harrold” or “Clifford”

I was going to say, Oscar Moller Simmonds is the best cat name I know of!
I think a cat named Scuds has a lot of potential. But my thinking could also be swayed by the cat. If it’s a big orange tabby, then Greener. A ladies’ cat, Stoll. All over fuzzy with long brown fur like a lion, Zeus.
Cliffy would obviously be an alley cat brawler with scars and torn ears!

hahaha yeah i guess the type of cat plays a big part of it. I just posted a similar poll on TrueBlueLA maybe some of the Dodger fans will join us in the thread for the next game

I just don’t think any cat I’ve ever owned could qualify as “Quick”. Their demeanor has always been more ancient godlike, slower to react, hence the Zeus connection. Although they are closer to egyptian mythology than greek for sure.

well...
I have two cats…tommy and jack….because i like primus and alcohol!!!!
I picked clifford….cuz it just sounds like a super fat lazy slob of a cat…but a cat that will beat the shit out of all the other cats…like a sumo cat…..
