According to Hammond, it's a One Game Suspension
Don’t know what they’ll do here. My gut tells me that Moller comes into the game tomorrow, and they do the best they can. But I kind of wonder if they’ll recall Schenn. Afterall, he has to play TWO games to burn a year. Make it a one game tryout. He does good, you keep him. He doesn’t you send him back to Manchester when Stoll comes back, no harm, no foul.
According to Mackenzie's Tweet...
Kings don’t want to throw Schenn in because of this situation, but may not have a choice. “Pondering their options.”
I think they go with Moller and not worry about it
The bottom line for Schenn is that he should be playing wherever he is (ideally playing quite a bit), and he’s bound to get more playing time in Manchester. I’m not saying the Kings wouldn’t benefit from playing him in Stoll’s place, but I think that Lombardi looks at Schenn as being still in process, and you shouldn’t mess with the process.
By which I mean: If you bring up Schenn and keep him around as a reward for playing well after Stoll comes back, what is Schenn’s role? Is there room for him at all after Stoll comes back? Maybe you’re better off leaving him with Manchester.
