Ahhhhh
Relief.
This win makes me so happy. I know, there is a lot of hockey still left to play in this series but this is the statement game that the Kings needed.
The Sharks are going to bring next game to try and get home ice back. I doubt that this win will deflate their confidence enough to allow the Kings to walk on them at Staples… but one can hope. =)
Felix Potvin was awesome against COL
Now we gotta win Game 3…
Angelofdeath? Ringing any bells? He's dead.

Fun Fact
Former Kings goalie Kelly Hrudey played the most playoff games in NHL history (85) without a single playoff shutout. And of course he should have had one in Game 1 of the 1993 Stanley Cup Finals except that Gretzky had to block that pass on the two-on-one right into the net.
Shut outs don't matter in the playoofs but...
..wins do. But you could win a Stanley Cup with Johnny Quick, no doubt…
True
They are nice to have but the Kings didn’t go anywhere in those seasons with Potvin.
I always had a soft spot for Felix the Cat.
