PrintWe interrupt our Hurricane Drew coverage to report that your intrepid blog has a Yahoo! fantasy hockey league going this year.
If you want to throw down with Quisp, me, and other blog regulars in a head-to-head game every week, leave a comment below and I'll email you the details on how to join. We should be able to fit in 2-4 more teams.
The live draft is set for Wednesday, Sep. 28, 7:30 PM PDT.
P.S. If you're new to fantasy hockey, no worries! I was a beginner last year, and I still beat the pants off of BoC. Now that I think about it, though, their pants were probably already off in the first place.
Anyway, clothed or not: jump right in.

That’s totally fine; you can set up a custom draft list or use autodraft for it.

Anyone know how long the draft usually takes? I’m already in, and am just realizing now that when the time says 730, that means LA time, and I’m three hours ahead, meaning it doesn’t start until 1030 my time. Just curious how late I’m staying up tomorrow (not that it really matters, with a month old at home, I don’t sleep anyway).
Our league is currently set for 20 teams. We had a 20 team draft last Saturday for The Battle of California and the draft finished up in just under 90 minutes. Granted, we had about 4 or 5 teams with absent managers and on Auto-Pick, but I was still impressed.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.

It was 16 Roster Sports per team, with 1 minute and 30 seconds per draft pick. I was surprised at how smooth the BoC draft went.
The settings should be the same for the JftC draft tomorrow night.

Well, for everyone who left a comment: it seems like there’s enough interest for another 12 team league, at least…shall I go ahead and start it? I think I will.

Obviously the time of the draft would be different — we could do another evening round, or mid morning on a weekend. I’m open to suggestions.
