Rich Hammond reports that RW sniper prospect Tyler Toffoli will join the Kings to practice with the team now that the Ottawa 67s have been eliminated from the playoffs. He racked up 100 points in 65 games this season, and also scored at a point-per-game pace in the playoffs. (A bona fide goal-scorer, peeps. I feel a swoon coming on.)
Though unlikely to play--and ten games would burn a year off his ELC--this is a reward for Toffoli's hard work, and the organization obviously likes what they see.
Ideally, he would have joined the Manchester Monarchs for their playoff run, but they were eliminated by the top-seeded Admirals last night. Taking Slava Voynov, Dwight King, Jordan Nolan, and Andrei Loktionov off their roster had a bit of an impact. Oops. Sorry, guys.
Now that there are no limits to how many players they can call up, let's guess the other black aces.
Who are your favorites to get the nod? Vey, Hickey, Muzzin, Kozun?
