Predators at Kings: Reaction Thread

Jeff Gross

Kings lose 4-3 to Nashville despite coming from behind to tie it in third.

The Kings overcame a two goal deficit to tie it in the 3rd but eventually fell to Nashville in regulation.

We'll have the recap and game grades for you tomorrow. In the meantime, here are a few quick observations:

  • Jonathan Quick went 13-17 for a .765 save percentage. Youch.
  • The Kings out-chanced Nashville 17-5 and lost this one. Hmm.
  • Tyler Toffoli was +22/8 in Corsi was credited with an assist and 5 shots.Wow.
  • Dwight King lead all Kings forwards in even strength ice time with 20:23. Haven't checked but I'd be shocked if that wasn't a career high. Um, wat.
  • Jarrett Stoll was injured and didn't return after a shift early in the 2nd period.
  • Update: The Kings had 25 different line combinations last night for the 2nd game in a row.
  • Extra Skater has all the stats from last night's game.

The Kings have a long layoff to process this one. Their next game is November 7th against the Sabres at Staples.
