Some observations:

  • Ten points separate 14th (CGY) from 4th (NSH). Six points separate 13th (CBJ) from 5th (PHX).
  • In points-blown (PB), 4 points separate 13th from 5th.
  • The Kings are three points out of a playoff spot.
  • A win tomorrow against the Sharks will put the Kings ahead of San Jose (equal points, equal games-played, Kings have one more non-shoot-out win).
  • If CHI, ANA and COL lose, and the Kings win, the Kings will jump to 9th, one point out of 7th.
