Kings Clinch a Playoff Spot. Get Happy!

For the fifth straight season, the Los Angeles Kings are headed to the Stanley Cup Playoffs. They clinched their spot in extremely satisfying fashion tonight, defeating the Phoenix Coyotes 4-0 at the Staples Center. In all likelihood, the Kings will take the third seed in the Pacific Division.

Recently, making the playoffs felt like a major accomplishment for the Kings. Now, it's expected. A first-round matchup with the Sharks (most likely) or the Ducks awaits; for now, let's enjoy it!
