Postgame Poll: Kings lose a heartbreaker. On to Game six.

Tasos Katopodis

The Kings were this close to advancing to the Stanley Cup Final in OT:

but instead this happened:

Of course it was Handzus.

Fortunately, all is not lost. The Kings are still up 3-2 and get to play Game 6 on home ice. There were some positives to take from tonight. The Kings till flashed a lot of skill as their offense continues to click. They are also continuing to dominate Chicago's bottom six.

However, not everything is rosy. Patrick Kane has apparently woken up from his slumber. The Kings 2nd pair seemed to be a bit of a mess again and the Jonathan Quick is still hasn't gotten his groove back.

Despite the loss, this was about as entertaining a hockey game as you're likely to see. Hopefully the next one is just as entertaining but with a different result.
