Jewelcast Five: Canuck-a-Luck

New, comments

It's been an, uh, surprisingly eventful week here at Jewels. Our podcast looked back at everyone losing their damn minds. Plus, Dimitri Filipovic from the Sporting News and Canucks Army joined us for our Vancouver preview!

Hard to believe we've reached episode five already, but the Jewelcast is back on the airwaves tonight at 5:30 pacific/8:30 eastern! We've got quite a bit to discuss this week for a show in the middle of July, including: the latest season review articles and the interesting response to them, Ryan O'Reilly vs. the Colorado Avalanche, David Moss signing two contracts in a day, and more! Then we'll continue our Pacific division preview series with the Vancouver Canucks. The Canucks' stats suggest a team that was unlucky not to make the playoffs last year, but after an eventful offseason are they still poised to return to the postseason? To help us break down all things diving and rioting, we'll be joined by Dimitri Filipovic (@DimFilipovic) of the Sporting News NHL and Canucks Army, at about 6 pacific/9 eastern.

To listen, as always go to the episode page where the show will start streaming live at 5:30/8:30. You can find our call-in number there (347-850-1179) as well as the Skype click-to-talk button that will appear once we go live, if you'd like to talk to us on the air. You can also tweet us questions on Twitter using the hashtag #Jewelcast. And as always if you can't tune in live, the episode will be available to stream & download almost immediately after the show, including through our Itunes page. Thanks and enjoy!

UPDATE: Well, that was, uh, something. Another Jewelcast in the books and ready for your listening, I guess, pleasure (?). Stream it using the player below, or download on Itunes, whatever you want.
