Well then. I was excited for the Los Angeles Kings to make a high pick for the first time in a while. So much for that.
That’s not to say the Kings will be totally absent from tonight’s proceedings. Mike Richards could, technically, be traded. LA could, technically, package picks to move up. And Boston could, technically, do something fun with the pick that belonged to us.
