Nick Nickson to Receive 2015 Foster Hewitt Memorial Award

Congratulations to the Kings' longtime radio play-by-play man, Nick Nickson! It was announced today that he will receive the 2015 Foster Hewitt Memorial Award, "in recognition of members of the radio and television industry who made outstanding contributions to their profession and the game during their career in hockey broadcasting." The award is chosen by the NHL Broadcasters' Association and has been given to the biggest legends in hockey broadcasting, including LA's own Jiggs McDonald (1990) and Bob Miller (2000).

The honor will be bestowed on Nickson at the Hall of Fame ceremonies in November. Well deserved!
