Jeff Carter had harsh words for his team after Tuesday’s loss in Buffalo, and both he and Anze Kopitar called the Kings’ road play unacceptable. Tonight? Much better.

Fueled by Tyler Toffoli’s three point night and a strong defensive effort, the Kings looked quite good. It took a Nic Dowd goal at the end of the second period to ease our pessimism, as it was shaping up to be a game where the Kings deserved two points but couldn’t get the goals to make it count. Thankfully, that wasn’t the case, as you’ll read about in the recap.

Now, LA’s last memory of the Joe will be a win. Good stuff.
