Jewelcast Episode 2.6: No Cups, Just Trophies

Here we go again.

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

On this week's Jewelcast, Nick and Andrew will take you on a wild journey through the NHL playoffs. There have been dirty hits, boring hockey, exciting hockey, and even some perfectly average hockey. We'll do a roundup of the week that's been.

Though the Kings will not win the Stanley Cup, it has long been known that the real measurement of success is how many individual awards your team wins. Heading into tonight's Calder nominations, the Kings have been nominated for four awards (Selke, Norris, Vezina, Lady Byng) with some possibilities still to come. Will Michael Mersch get nominated for the Calder? Probably!

Lastly, we'll discuss the sad topic of bandwagoning. Except not sad in my case, because my team actually wins in the playoffs! That part is super fun. I enjoy it.

It's gonna be a wild and messy ride. We're gonna go LIVE at 4 PM Pacific. Join us! Here's the link to the episode page, and below is the widget where you can listen live. We'll have the podcast up on iTunes as soon as possible. Thanks!
