There’s some weird spacing in the early part of the NHL schedule, and the Los Angeles Kings are one of the teams most affected as they play only three games in the first nine days of the season. After that? A back-to-back gets everything rolling. Hope the Kings’ old guys can keep up, and if they feel like they can’t, there’s a 45-year-old on the other side who can provide some inspiration.
