Kings play-by-play man Bob Miller, who has been calling games for the Kings for over 40 years, is making an announcement about his future on Thursday. Miller has been sidelined for about a month after suffering a minor stroke at LA's All-Star Weekend.
In the press release, the following quote from Miller appears: "I have received a lot of inquiries about my health situation and I appreciate the concern. I think it’s time to bring everyone up to date on my progress and what’s ahead in my future." We won't say the "r-ment" word out loud, but if this news conference does reveal Bob's plan for following in Vin Scully's footsteps, I only hope we can all give him the same kind of send-off.
