Rank the Players: Kings Unleash Frustrations in Florida

LA wastes no time in ensuring they won’t be shut out again.

NHL: Los Angeles Kings at Florida Panthers Robert Mayer-USA TODAY Sports

The Kings don’t quite get the exact reverse of their earlier 5-0 losses, but they do get to go into the bye on a very high note after chasing not one, but two Florida goaltenders. Rank the Players:

LA got pretty much everything they needed in the first 15 minutes of this game: an early power play which they cashed in, an open look for Jeff Carter which he cashed in, and an opportunity for Toffoli to get his first goal back from injury which... yeah, Tyler cashed that in too. Fitting that, after a three-goal second period last game in which all of their mistakes were punished, they flipped it back the other way in both the first and second periods.

Recap to come. And just because there’s a bye, doesn’t mean we won’t be posting during the Kings’ break... Stay tuned for more on Carter, Doughty, rumors, and maybe even a JftC Roundtable!
