After so many games where the Kings deserved better and didn’t get it, it’s been kind of nice to lose games where it didn’t feel like the Kings deserved better than a loss, right?

No? It’s still been terrible? Sorry, never mind.

LA was shut out for the ninth time this season, which ties them with the 2011-12 Kings for second-most in a season in franchise history. And now I’ve mentioned this team in the same sentence as the first Cup-winning team, so I think my work here is done.
