2018 Los Angeles Kings Top 25 Under 25: The Countdown Begins

The results are in! After over 100 reader votes and contributions from our hard-working staff here at the site, we’re getting ready to unveil our Top 25 Under 25 list to you.

This year, there were 37 players to choose from, thanks to two years of full drafts and some aggressive free agent signings. There has been some turnover from last year’s list, however. Jonny Brodzinski is the only player to have aged out, as he turned 25 in June. And while the Kings haven’t been too active on the trade market, five players have dropped off of the list either due to trades (Zac Leslie), not receiving a contract (Steven Johnson, Jacob Friend, Justin Auger), or being waived in order to be released from a contract (Damir Sharipzyanov).

Will last year’s champion, Adrian Kempe, retain his spot on the throne? How will surprise roster mainstays like Alex Iafallo and Mike Amadio fare? Where does the speedy Rasmus Kupari rank? You’ll find out very soon.

We’ll be posting daily; tomorrow we kick things off with the players who just barely missed the cut. The countdown begins in earnest on Monday. In case you want a one-stop shop for all of your organizational needs, bookmark this page, which will be updated as each player is revealed.
