The country awoke this morning to news of a tragic shooting in Thousand Oaks, California, a city approximately 40 miles northeast of Los Angeles. Twelve were killed at the Borderline Bar & Grill, including a Ventura County sheriff’s deputy, and at least twelve people were injured.
The Los Angeles Kings organization expressed their condolences to the victims and their families earlier today online, and several players have made statements of their own.
The entire LA Kings organization is deeply shaken by this senseless and horrific act on one of our local communities. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families. We wish all the people of Thousands Oaks strength and peace and we share in their sadness and grief.— LA Kings (@LAKings) November 8, 2018

We will keep you updated if the Kings choose to hold any events or fundraisers specific to this cause.
For now, for those interested in supporting the Thousand Oaks community, an official fundraiser is being held through the Ventura County Community Foundation, a local non-profit which has set up a victim relief and recovery fund. Donations can be made by visiting the VCCF’s website.
The Kings and Wild will both be wearing helmet stickers tonight that read “ENOUGH”. The organization has also committed to donating its share of the profits from tonight’s 50-50 raffle to the VCCF, with Kings players matching donations.
The Ontario Reign will also be donating the proceeds of their next 50-50 raffle to the VCCF.
Additionally, beginning tonight at 5:30 pm, the Children’s Hospital Blood Mobile will be on site at the 11th Street entrance, allowing fans to donate blood. Individuals who donate will be eligible to win tickets to a future Kings game. Information on signing up to register to donate blood can be found on the Kings’ website.
This post will be updated with any additional fundraisers or relief efforts as they become available.
