Dust off your writing skills, we’re looking for you.

The Kings are adding new faces to their roster, so it’s only fair that we do, too. Jewels from the Crown is looking to add some new contributors to the site as we get ready to dive into the 2018-19 season.

Who are we looking for? Someone with passion for the Kings who is a strong writer (or willing to work on your skills) with the ability to contribute regularly.

Maybe you’re someone who’s a scholar of Kings teams past. Or perhaps you love breaking down plays and systems. Do you have a good pulse for what’s going on in the league as a whole? Are you really, really good at fancy stats? Or maybe you really love Adrian Kempe’s hair.

If you’re not sure where you fit in, but the idea of contributing to the site and helping grow a vibrant community of Kings fans intrigues you, definitely reach out. Previous hockey writing (or general writing) experience is a plus, although not necessary, just a willingness to learn and grow along with us!

At this time, contributor positions are on a volunteer basis. You do not need to be Los Angeles-based to be a part of the team. We welcome and encourage diverse voices to apply. If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments below or send them to Sarah at sarah.jftc@gmail.com.

If you’d like to help cover the team this season (and beyond), please apply using the form below (or open it in a new page with this link). Your application must be completed and submitted by October 1, 2018.
