2019 NHL Draft, Day Two: How to watch, open thread

Yesterday, with their two picks in the first round, the Kings addressed both scoring and defense, adding center Alex Turcotte and defenseman Tobias Bjornfot with their first two picks.

Today, the Kings get to dig a little deeper and take some more risks. With a pick early in the second round, will they select one of the skilled-but-risky players who dropped down out of the first round?

As a reminder, barring any trades, the Kings have eight picks today:

  • Round 2: #33
  • Round 3: #64
  • Round 3: #87 (via Washington, part of the Carl Hagelin trade)
  • Round 4: #95
  • Round 4: #119 (via Montreal, part of the Nate Thompson trade; this pick was originally Calgary’s, acquired by Montreal at the 2018 NHL Draft)
  • Round 5: #126
  • Round 6: #157
  • Round 7: #188/

If you’re looking to watch live, round two begins at at 10:00 a.m. Pacific time on the NHL Network (Sportsnet in Canada).

We’ll bring you updates here on the site with all the Kings’ happenings, and of course, will be live on Twitter all throughout the draft, as well.
