Crown Conversations Episode 40: Stanley Cup Final, Tampa Bay Edition

Checking in with a member from Raw Charge to talk about all things Tampa Bay and their run to the Stanley Cup.

EDMONTON, ALBERTA - SEPTEMBER 21: Blake Coleman #20 and Andrei Vasilevskiy #88 of the Tampa Bay Lightning celebrate the teams 3-2 victory against the Dallas Stars in Game Two of the 2020 NHL Stanley Cup Final at Rogers Place on September 21, 2020 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. In episode 40, Hardev Lad from our sister SB Nation site Raw Charge joins Crown Conversations to talk about the Tampa Bay Lightning and their quest to lift Lord Stanley’s shiny silver chalice. Steven Stamkos remains an unknown factor, but if he were to suit up, where could he fit into the lineup? How would Jon Cooper best utilize the star forward’s skills?

We also talk about the magical postseason that Brayden Point is having as well as Tampa’s insane depth (seriously, Tyler Johnson is on the THIRD LINE, Cedric Paquette is on the FOURTH line). It hasn’t been an easy Cup run for this beleaguered, injured Lightning squad so far, but after being swept out of the playoffs by the Columbus Blue Jackets last year, the Bolts are proving that they’ve learned a lot and will not be an easy out for any team.
