Captains for All-Star Game in Los Angeles: Crosby, Price, Subban, McDavid
No Kings captain, but I guess the NHL’s scoring leader will suffice.
The captains for this month’s NHL All-Star Game, which will be held at Staples Center in Los Angeles, have been announced. The fans chose the four players who have been leading the race for the last month or so, which means no John Scott-esque surprise... and no Kings.

It’s too bad no LA players will get to lead the Pacific Division, but overall, I’ll happily take the Western Conference pair of Subban and McDavid over last year’s duo of Scott and Patrick Kane. And we’ll almost certainly see more than one King anyway; Jeff Carter is a lock at this point, while Drew Doughty should make it with a weak defensive class, and (amazingly) Peter Budaj even has a case.
The All-Star Game is on January 29. We’ll be there; will you?
