Game Day Watch, 12/10: Ottawa Senators @ Los Angeles Kings
Last time, things went poorly and ended even more poorly.
HOW TO WATCH
Game Time: 1:00 PM Pacific
TV: Fox Sports West, RDS, TSN5
Radio: KABC AM 790
Stream: Fox Sports Go (requires cable subscription)
WHAT TO WATCH FOR
if you’re a Kings fan: Offense. The lines looked lifeless on Thursday, and the bottom six has a new look with Devin Setoguchi and Andy Andreoff back in. But the focus is on the top. In the words of Darryl Sutter: will they be better at “maximizing what their God gave ‘em”?
if you’re a Senators fan: Can Mike Condon keep it going? The 26-year-old was waived by Montreal, picked up by Pittsburgh, and traded to Ottawa for a fifth-round pick. Now he’s got a .945 save percentage with the Senators, because goalies make no sense.
if you’re a hockey fan: Doughty vs. Karlsson, Pt 2.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
for the Kings: Anze Kopitar. The last time LA faced Ottawa, Kopitar was injured and the Kings gave up two goals in the final four minutes to lose. He does have five points in his last three games, but he hasn’t scored a goal since he was injured. Go get ‘em.
for the Senators: Mark Stone. Before scoring with seven seconds left to beat the Kings on November 11, he had five points in 12 games. Since? Fourteen points in 13 games, and he’s taken off in December.

Today, we’re thankful that Sharks-Ducks was not a three-point game. Good job Hampus.
