Doughty: no deal imminent, won't attend Hockey Fest

Kings GM Dean Lombardi and Doughty's agent, Don Meehan, have agreed they won't publicly discuss negotiations. but nothing appears imminent. Kings say they don't anticipate Doughty will attend Hockey Fest event on Sunday at Staples Center.
It's been a couple of months since I asked everyone to guess when they thought Drew Doughty would sign. I was among the very few who thought it would carry over until September. We have now officially passed beyond everyone's predicted dates.
Camp starts in 8 days. I'm sticking to my prediction that Lombardi is not going to blink first, unless he's forced to blink by AEG. Meehan won't blink either. He doesn't care. It's Doughty who will blink. When? Who knows.
