Frozen Fury Details Announced

The Los Angeles Kings announced today that they will be playing not one but TWO pre-season games in Las Vegas next season.

For the first time in the event’s long history, the games will move from MGM Grand Gardens Arena to the brand new T-Mobile Arena. The new arena was built by AEG (who also built Staples Center) and just opened its doors yesterday.

Along with the annual game between the Kings and the Colorado Avalanche, the Dallas Stars will be making the trip to Vegas to christen the new building. The Stars join the San Jose Sharks, Phoenix Coyotes, and New York Rangers as the only teams besides the Avalanche to play in the event.

The Kings will face off with the Stars on October 7th, then the Avalanche the next night on October 8th. Ticket information for both games will be announced at a later date.

There has also not yet been word on how many times Tyler Seguin will have to claim that his phone was hacked during his trip to Las Vegas for a game that does not matter.
