Game notes:
- Brief game notes, because not much is new for this second half of the back-to-back (also I just made a full thanksgiving dinner and I am totally wiped). The biggest note obviously is that the Kings are seeking their first win of the 2014-15 season. They managed to grab a point in Arizona last night, but certainly didn't play well enough to earn a win. The powerplay is currently a scintillating 0 for 8, and the second line is the only line that has scored a goal thus far.
- This morning's news is that doctors have not yet cleared Jake Muzzin to play, but he feels that he's pretty close to a return. There's no news on what's the deal with Trevor Lewis, but he didn't skate this morning.
- The Jets are 1-1 so far this season, beating up on the Coyotes and getting beaten up by the Sharks. The Kings are lucky not to be facing offensive threat Evander Kane, who suffered a knee injury during his second shift of the season. The Jets have some decent offensive tools, but they haven't really improved their tragic defence or canned the extremely tragic Ondrej Pavelec, so let's hope the Kings can take advantage tonight.
- Prediction: Kings win, a lot to a little.
