Game Day Stats & Discussion Thread: Los Angeles Kings @ Winnipeg Jets

It’s a little too early to start having deep thoughts about line management, but let’s just leave some of these thoughts here. Just in case, you know, we need them later.

In his NHL debut against the Detroit Red Wings, Jaret Anderson-Dolan only played 7:26, only receiving three shifts each in the second and third periods. He’ll sit tonight against the heavy-bodied Winnipeg Jets, as the Kings ease him into his professional career.

Mike Amadio played for 7:56, seeing the ice only twice in the third period. He’ll play tonight, albeit on the wing of the fourth line.

Austin Wagner, however, seems to have cracked John Stevens’ circle of trust, playing 12:43 on Sunday, and found himself bumped up in the lineup. He’s still trying to find the shot to match his speed at the NHL level, but tonight, he’ll get a chance to figure that out alongside Jeff Carter and Tyler Toffoli.

Thoughts? Feelings? Check out of work early and come chill with us on the internet during the game in our comments section.
