How Many Canadians Does It Take to Make One NHL Player?
Because there are no games today (I know, I know, the Bronze Medal game, but come on), I am passing the time by taking a nation's population and dividing it by its number of current NHL players. [numbers are from Inside the Rink's breakdown of NHL players by nationality, and Google population searches -- all numbers are 2008]
And, yes, I know this is stupid.
