Jake Muzzin Signs Five-Year Contract Extension

The corsi demi-god has re-upped with the LA Kings for five years to the tune of $20 million. You can read the press release here.

Lisa Dillman of the LA Times confirmed the accuracy of the number.
This is excellent news for the Kings, because the team owns 61% of all shot attempts with Jake Muzzin is on the ice and as Andrew pointed out in his season review, Muzzin's WOWYs (With Or Without You) are fantastic, no matter who he's paired with.
This is also good for Drew Doughty who can't endorse his defense partner's skill enough. No, really, he can't for fear he might not play with Muzz.
More importantly, this means 5 more years of EYEBROWS and all of Langluy's eyebrow jokes. And more corsi goodness from the defenseman in his prime.
