After weeks of listening and exasperating as Jonathan Quick’s expected return date was pushed back, we have arrived ahead of schedule. Go figure!
Quick suffered a groin injury after stopping 13 of 14 shots in one period of action against San Jose. And for as much as people (okay, us) have debated his importance to the Los Angeles Kings, the struggles of Peter Budaj make this a perfect time for Quick to be back in net.
Today’s game against Anaheim is a big one. Let’s hope he plays well… and more importantly, stays out of trouble.
