Jordan Nolan Suspended

It’s just been announced that Jordan Nolan has been suspended for one game after last night’s sucker punch against Jesse Joensuu in Edmonton.

The Kings will be without Nolan for tonight’s game against Calgary .

Darryl Sutter was quoted earlier today as saying the suspension shouldn’t be longer than a single game and defended Nolan’s actions. Meanwhile, Jonathan Willis of the Edmonton Journal argues that the suspension should have been more severe.

It’s very likely that rookie Tanner Pearson will get the call tonight. Pearson is primarily a left wing but can play either side. Pearson has 1 goal in 11 games this season.
