Kings 2, Avs 3 – Post-Game Bullets

I don’t have much to say about this game. I thought it was boring. I can’t put my finger on it, but it was one of those games you just know the Kings are going to lose while boring you to tears.

Great goal by Scott Parse though.

In search of good news:

  • Tyler Toffoli has 13 goals and 12 assists in 12 games. That’s ahead of last season’s league leading pace.
  • That’s nine points behind the leader — Nail Yakupov — who has played four more games.
  • Toffoli’s 13 goals is tops in the OHL.
  • Jordan Weal has 7 goals, 15 assists in 15 games. That’s eighth in the WHL.
  • Andrei Loktionov has 3 goals, 9 assists in 11 games in Manchester. They need to bring him up and put him between Stoll and Lewis, like I keep saying. Maybe between Stoll and Richardson.
  • Jordan Nolan has 2 goals and 4 assists in Manchester. He’s a plus-4, which is right behind Loktionov and Marc-Andre Cliche at plus-5. I hope Nolan makes the team next year. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him get a cup of coffee this year.

That’s all I’ve got. Nothing to see here. Move along.
