Kings-Coyotes Rookie Game II: Lineups and Live Thread

Let’s do it again! The rookies for the Los Angeles Kings and the Arizona Coyotes will face off one more time at the wonderfully named Gila River Arena. It’s one more chance for the players at rookie camp to impress the organization before some critical roster decisions.

The blue line will look completely different, as every defenseman who was stuck on the bench yesterday (aside from Colin Miller) will get a look tonight. Miller had a full season in Manchester last year, so the coaches apparently want to get a look at the less familiar players. That includes 2014 seventh-rounder Jacob Middleton and the AHL-signed (but not NHL-signed) Kevin Gravel. As for the forwards, we’ll see three new faces, including 2014 sixth-rounder Jake Marchment (Bryan Marchment’s nephew).

Once again, I’ll be providing game updates in the comments. Gotta love 2 PM hockey. The live stream is over at the Coyotes’ official website.

Prediction: I am much better at identifying players by number than I was yesterday.
