Both semifinal games will be called by the great (or not, depending on your opinion) Gary Thorne on ESPN2 in HD and ESPN3.com.

  • The schedule for Thursday’s action: Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs (24-10-6) vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (25-13-5), 5 p.m. ET
  • Michigan Wolverines (28-10-4) vs. North Dakota Fighting Sioux (32-8-3), 8:30 p.m. ET
  • The winners will face off on Saturday afternoon back at Xcel Energy Center in the National Championship. The game will be at 7 p.m. Eastern on ESPN in HD.

Brayden Schenn (Saskatoon) and Linden Vey (Medicine Hat) are in action tonight in the second round of the WHL playoffs. Maxim Kitsyn (Mississauga) and Robbie Czarnik (Plymouth) start round two of the OHL playoffs tomorrow night. Jean-Francois Berube (Montreal) and Nicolas Deslauriers (Gatineau) start tomorrow in the QMJHL.

The CHL (OHL, WHL, QMJHL) games are all available streaming for about seven bucks a pop. Because, you know, otherwise there’s no hockey on.
