Los Angeles Kings Announce Preseason Schedule; Features First Game in China, First Vegas Home Game

This preseason is going to be way more exciting than usual.

The NHL season ended four days ago, but for the Los Angeles Kings, it’s been a lot longer. So having official knowledge of when LA’s next game will be is nice! And this year’s preseason schedule is a doozy.

The highlights are all within a week. On, September 21 and September 23, LA will face Vancouver in the first two NHL (exhibition) games in China. It’ll be a split-squad deal, unless you wish to see the Kings do a back-to-back-to-back with 15-hour-flights sandwiched in between. (I don’t... but I kind of do, also?)

Then, on September 26, the Vegas Golden Knights will host their first ever game at home, welcoming the Kings to T-Mobile Arena. LA has played there before as part of Frozen Fury, but never as a hostile visitor. The Kings and Golden Knights will face each other in rookie scrimmages at the Toyota Sports Center on September 12 and September 13, if you don’t feel like making the trip to Las Vegas.

The Coyotes, Ducks, and (again) Canucks fill out the remainder of the schedule.
