Los Angeles Kings vs. Vegas Golden Knights, Rookie Game #2: Live Stream, Players to Watch

After a 6-2 win yesterday, the Los Angeles Kings and the Vegas Golden Knights face off in their second rookie game at the Kings’ practice facility in El Segundo.

(Game 1: September 12, 2017, 5:00 PM Pacific)
Game 2: September 13, 2017, 1:00 PM Pacific

The games can be live streamed at the Kings’ website if you’re in the LA market. The stream had some hiccups yesterday, but hopefully that shouldn’t be an issue today.

No word on who exactly will be playing today, but here are five more players to keep an eye on if they are in the lineup!

Players to Watch:

Jaret Anderson-Dolan, forward. The Kings’ 2017 second-round pick turned 18 yesterday and scored a goal to celebrate. He’ll be heading back to the Spokane Chiefs next season, so enjoy one more look at the dynamic 5’11” center. He got a heavy dose of shifts yesterday.

Alex Iafallo, forward. If the LA Kings Insider doesn’t entirely rule out the possibility that you’ll make the team, you’re doing well at rookie camp. Iafallo showed no fear yesterday, firing shots at will; perhaps he’ll find the net today.

Jacob Moverare, defenseman. The Swedish defenseman felt like a steal in the fourth round in 2016, and so far he’s done little to dissuade that notion. Last night’s broadcast pointed to his skating as something to work on, but otherwise he’s well-rounded and will look to showcase that again.

Chaz Reddekopp, defenseman. Scratched from yesterday’s game, the 6’3” blueliner earned a contract after a strong 2016-17 and offers a potentially imposing presence on the Ontario blueline for next season.

Matt Villalta, goaltender. Will LA hand today’s start to the 2017 third-rounder?  He’s not much of a known quantity and we probably won’t learn much from a rookie game, but he’s got sweet red pads and will have numerous opportunities to establish himself within the pipeline.
